Deborah Keesey is an attorney licensed to practice law in the states of California and Hawaii. Ms, Keesey practices extensively in the fields of business & finance law, probate, conservatorships, trust administration, trust litigation, business succession & advanced estate planning. She is dedicated to providing the optimal solution and expert cost-effective service for every client while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Ms. Keesey has a broad spectrum of experience in the field of law, having practiced in civil litigation in Hawaii during her early career after graduating from Cornell Law School where she had a concentration in Business Law and Regulation. She built on those skills and combined them with a global project finance practice at the Los Angeles office of the international law firm of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. Ms. Keesey graduated from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business with Honors and an emphasis in Accounting, Finance and Marketing.
Ms. Keesey serves in many professional organizations including the L.A. Superior Court Appointed Counsel Panel, Los Angeles Superior Court Settlement Officer Program, and is a former board member of the South Bay Women Lawyer’s Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Ms. Keesey currently serves as an executive officer of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trusts and Estates Executive Committee. She will serve as the President of the South Bay Bar Association in 2021, and is a past member of the Benjamin Aranda, III, American Inn of Court.
In the community, Ms. Keesey is an active volunteer having served as a guest speaker at the Health Care & Elder Law Programs (H.E.L.P.), which provides older adults and their families with information, counseling on elder care, law, and consumer protection. Ms. Keesey is also a member of the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Professional Advisory Council and speaks at seminars and contributes articles to its Health and Wellness blogs. My Keesey also serves on the board of directors to the Volunteer Center, South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach, whose programs focus on youth mental health, food for kids, and Operation Teddy Bear.
